About us

Wisdom For Life

Wisdom for Life (WFL) Uganda is a Christian founded organization, registered as a community-based organization. It was established in 2021 by a group of Christian professionals seeking to Restore Hope through mental health and psychosocial support to communities transitioning from protracted civil and ethnic war.

The greater Northern Uganda is also a host to over 1.2 million South Sudanese and Congolese refugees who have been displaced and live in various settlements scattered across the West Nile region and Acholi sub region. While various partners and organizations provide humanitarian and development aid, WFL Uganda was conceived and birthed from a strong desire to address gaps in providing mental and social-economic response and seeks to transform lives of the affected.
